CALLED OUT OF BABYLON

The One True and Living God wanted a called out people that He could reveal Himself to and that would worship according to that Truth, but through their prosperity and ease they forgot about Him and became mixed with the Babylonian customs of worship. They no longer worshiped according to God’s revelation of Himself, but became apostate and fell away from their first love. They still had the name of the One True God, but only in addition to all their other gods and traditions...

HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST SAYS TO THE CHURCHES


After the flood of destruction, in the days of Noah there was a preeminent kingdom named Babel. Nimrod ruled this kingdom and set up a pagan religious system of worship that was contrary to the one True God, The Creator. (Gen.9:8-10) God brought judgment upon that false system of worship, confounded their languages so that they couldn’t understand each other, which caused them to be scattered out on the face of the Earth. As these people were scattered they took with them the same belief and false worship practices; thus, the practices of Babylon are traced from the beginnings of all civilizations.




CALLED OUT

Abram was a man who lived in Ur of the Chaldees, which also had its roots based in pagan worship practices. Now the lord had said unto Abram, Get out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father’s house, unto a land that I will show you (Gen.12:1).

This was Abrams call from the one True God…to COME OUT of all the traditions and familiar surroundings of His life and find and fulfill the purpose to which the living God had called him; unto a place that "I(God) will show you." Through this process his name was changed to Abraham.

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed and went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: for he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God (Heb.11:8-10).

Abraham looked for a place that God had established and not man. So too, when we are called by the True and Living God we will be willing to leave the familiar traditions of our “father’s house” and walk by faith to seek what he has for us. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Heb. 11:6).We will be willing to leave behind all our preconceived notions about who we think God is and all of our "religious" ideas about "christianity" in order that He would reveal Himself to us As He is.

And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he has prepared for them a city (Heb.11:15-16).

Abraham was not mindful of the place that he left behind. There was nothing that interested him about where he came from or what he used to believe or the things he used to do. He had heard the call of the True and Living God, to COME OUT. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he has, he cannot be my disciple (Lk. 16:33).

So, Abraham followed the call of God; And being fully persuaded, that what He had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead(Rom. 4:21-21).

God considers a person in right relationship with Him when they are willing to leave all behind to follow his voice, His Word. When God called Abraham, He was expressing a desire to have a people in the earth to reveal Himself to; a people that would leave behind all of their dead traditions and false systems of worship. A people that would be willing to let go of all their false concepts about who they thought God was and be willing to follow His voice unto a place that He would reveal, and to worship in a way that he would reveal.



TEAR DOWN BABYLON

The descendants of Abraham were to go into the area of land that God had promised them and to destroy all of the false systems of worship and go to the place where God would “put” His name.

These are the statutes and judgments which you shall observe to do in the land, which the lord God of your fathers gives you to possess it, all the days that you live upon the earth. You shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which you shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: and you shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their grove with fire; and you shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place. You shall not do so unto the Lord your God. But unto the place which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put His name there, even unto His habitation shall you seek, and thither shall you come (Deut. 12:1-5).


They were told not to try to worship God in just any place or in just any way, but were to worship based on revelation. Revelation from God is the fondation of all that are truely His. The Living God would have a people that would be sensitive to His voice. They were called to take the land away from the people that worshiped falsely based on Babylonian systems, and told to take heed to their ways lest they became snared in their devotion to Him by being mixed with their deception. God’s people were not to become polluted, but were to take His revelation to them seriously by not adding or subtracting from who He revealed Himself to be and how they were to worship Him.

Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you for ever, when you do that which is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God. When the Lord your God shall cut off the nations from before you, wither you go to possess them, and you succeed them, and dwell in their land; Take heed to yourself that you be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before you, and that you inquire not after their gods, saying, How did there nations serve their gods? Even so will I do likewise. You shall not do so un to the Lord your God: for every abomination to the Lord which He hates, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire unto their gods. What thing soever I command you, observe to do it; you shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it (Deut 12:28-32).

So the lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him…But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: you are waxen fat, you are grown thick, you are covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. They provoked Him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they Him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Of the Rock that begat you are unmindful, and have forgotten God that formed you. And when the Lord saw it, He abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons and of his daughters. And He said I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very forward generation, children in whom is no faith (Deut.32:12+15-20).

So, God turned away from the people that he originally called out. They were polluted; they were mixed in with the world and its ways. They were no longer the called out ones as a whole, but God always had a remnant in the midst of the apostate people. The True and Living God would time and again give His call to come out of the mixture of the world that was based on Babylonian worship and customs and enter into worship based on His revelation of Himself. God sent prophet after prophet to encourage and warn His chosen to turn and repent or He would cast them away. The majority didn't listen and entered into judgement.



CALLED OUT TO TRUE WORSHIP

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;(Heb. 1:1-2)

But the hour comes, and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father and in spirit and in truth: for the father seeks such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

Jesus came as God in the flesh to reveal the heart of the invisible Father. Jesus is the visible representation of the invisible Father; He reveals who God is and what He is like. The Father is still seeking a people to worship Him through the revelation of Himself .

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men (Matt.15:9). Making the Word of God of none effect through your tradition, which you have delivered: and many such like things you do (Mk. 7:13).

Jesus made it very clear that what God says and what men do are very opposite. He was talking to the religious people, the people that gloried in the fact that they had the scriptures of the True and Living God. But they were mixed. They had God’s revelation of Himself, and polluted it with the vain traditions of men. They could not worship because their “truth” was corrupted and obscured the nature of the Living God from their eyes.

Search the sciptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me. And you will not come to Me, that you may have life (Jn. 5:39-40).

There He was, right in front of them. The Living God made manifest and yet they didn’t recognize Him. Why???? They fasted; they prayed; they went to “church”; they tithed; they diligently studied the scripture and yet they missed Him altogether. How could this be? Is it possible to do all these things today and still not be serving the One True and living God?

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col. 2:8-9).

So too, here we can see that the traditions of men are opposed to the truth of God as he reveals Himself in Jesus Christ. These traditions are vain and deceitful in that they hold part of the truth (they name the name of Jesus Christ) but add the traditions of men and so become mixed and polluted. This is deception: To hold the Name of the True and Living God and yet reduce our worship of Him to the customs and traditions of man. This is why God forsook His original CALLED OUT people; they ceased to be called out. They became mixed in. Mixed in the traditions and customs of the world which has its roots and beginning in Babylonian systems of worship and traditions.




A QUICK VIEW OF ANCIENT BABYLON

According to Babylonian tradition, when Nimrod was slain, he ascended into heaven and became the sun god. Nimrod’s widow became pregnant by the “rays of the sun” so the story goes, and she delivered her re-incarnated husband Nimrod on the day of the Winter Solstice – December 25th. She named this re-born sun god Tammuz. But why were women weeping for Tammuz? Tammuz was gored to death by a wild boar in a hunting accident in the 40th year of his life. Each year thereafter, worshippers of the sun god set aside 40 days, one day for each year of his life in which they would “mourn for Tammuz” by denying themselves a pleasure in this life for the pleasure of Tammuz in the afterlife.
The entire sun god worship season was finalized after Tammuz’s mother, the widow of Nimrod, died and returned to the earth in a giant egg which landed in the Euphrates River and cracked open. Out emerged Nimrod’s wife re-incarnated as Easter, the bare breasted goddess of fertility who turned a bird into an egg-laying rabbit to proclaim her divinity. Easter Sun-day was named in honor of this event. The 40 days of “weeping for Tammuz” concluded by slaughtering a wild boar representing the one that killed Tammuz, and eating ham on Easter sun-day….Constantine adapted most of the abominations surrounding the worship of the Sun god into what is now modern Christianity (M. J. Rood The Pagan – Christian Connection Exposed pg.116-117).


The above is a short summary of the Babylonian worship system, but in it we can clearly see where the modern day “Christian” observance of Christmas, Lent and Easter has their origin. In history the Roman Emperor Constantine was a worshipper of the Sun god and supposedly got converted to become a follower of Jesus Christ. He then made “Christianity” a law and established a religious- political state in Rome. The state church incorporated the Babylonian belief system into the true teachings of Jesus Christ. Thus, the Church became mixed and polluted from the truth. (There are volumes written about this part of church history, so, for now I will stick with the basics in order to lay a foundation for what will follow.) After this period of time the “church” entered into what is known as the “dark ages” with the Roman Catholic Church fully embracing Sun worship and departing from the Truth in Jesus Christ. Then, the Reformation, Protestant movement, took hold with Martin Luther being CALLED OUT. God always has a remnant; and in the Protestant movement people were being called out of the Babylonian traditions in order to worship God as He revealed Himself in the Scripture. The proclamation of this movement was “the just shall live by faith “(Rom.1:17b). This was the same faith that Abraham had, who was called to leave all to follow the True and Living God. Once again God was calling out a people that would worship Him as He reveals Himself and not according to the traditions of men. As people left this polluted "church of mixture", they were persecuted, tortured and killed. They gave their lives and were willing to leave all behind to go “unto a land that I will show you” (Gen.12:1).



MODERN DAY BABYLON

The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun (Eccl. 1:9).

It is true; history repeats itself. God is continually revealing himself to people and calling them out – then, after some time they are mixed back into that which they came out from. The Protestant Reformation is no different.

Come hither, I will show unto you the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters…..And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH…..And he said unto me, the waters which you saw, where the whore sits are the peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues (Rev. 17:1b, 5,15).

By seeing this verse the reader should be able to understand that Babylon isn’t just an ancient city that God judged, but is a spiritual principality that is still active into the final stages of world history. The nature of a whore is that she receives more than one seed, she has many lovers. She is not faithful to one, but is involved with many. Such is the Whore of Babylon; she is a "religious" system of worship based on deceit. She mixes the Seed of the Truth of God with the seed of lies from the traditions and doctrines of men.

She is in contrast to the Bride that is espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ (2 Cor. 11:2b); and who only receives the seed of One. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever (1 Pet. 1:23).

Jesus Christ is the incorruptible seed of the Word of God and the Bride only receives Him as He reveals Himself. The Bride only receives His seed (His Word and doctrine). And only worships Him as He reveals Himself in Spirit and Truth. The whore, in contrast, is mixed and polluted in her worship and her teachings. She is polluted with the mixture of holding on to the name of Jesus and the traditions of man at the same time.

Notice in Rev. 17:5 she is the mother of harlots (plural), she has many daughters. The majority of all Catholic and Protestant “churches” are harlots mixed and polluted with this deception. They do not teach the pure Truth of the Word of God, but have mixed doctrines of man with the Word. Once a person is insnared in this false system of worship the only way out into freedom is to hear the call of God's Voice to COME OUT.



CAN YOU HEAR HIS VOICE?

Again, God is calling out a remnant unto Himself. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her, My people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues (Rev. 17:4)

God has a people that He is calling out unto Himself. …and the sheep hear His voice: and he calls His own sheep by name, and LEADS THEM OUT. And when He puts forth His own sheep, He goes before them and they follow Him: for they know His voice (Jn. 10:3b-4).

Note to reader: This is by no means an exhaustive study, but is given only to point to the obvious manifestations of falsely mixing pagan traditions such as Christmas and Easter with the name of Jesus Christ. They are opposites. For more information on Sun worship and the names of the false gods involved please read Ezekiel chapter 8. He that has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit of Jesus Christ says

I declare unto you…you have called on Me, but not in Spirit and Truth. You love to feel My spirit, but only pretend to sit at my feet. Your tradition has made void My commandments, my word. I am Alpha and Omega. I am the Word that has been sent to heal and deliver you from your destructions. How will you be healed if you reject Me? How will you be delivered if you only pretend to hear? Behold, turn at My reproof and I will pour out My Spirit unto you. I am alive and active to fulfill My will in this place. My will is My Word and besides me there is no god. My Word seeks a resting place in your heart. Will you hear? Will you receive? Don’t be deceived, I am not mocked, what you sow you will reap. If you sow to your flesh you will reap corruption: if you sow to the Spirit you will reap life. Break up your fallow ground. I desire Truth in the inward parts. Don’t sow among thorns.

Behold, I have sent the spirit of Elijah before My face to turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to the fathers, lest I come and smite with a curse. Turn, wash yourself of your traditions; wash yourself of your deceitful religious ways and the lord whom you seek shall suddenly come to His Temple; but who shall be able to stand? For I baptize with the Holy Spirit and Fire. I will thoroughly purge and consume everything not of Me says the Lord. Will you hear? Will you receive? If you reject My Word I will reject you says the Almighty King. Will you receive My Word? Will you seek Me and quit lying and quit pretending? Will you contend for My faith that I once for all delivered unto the Saints, your forefathers? For I have seen you confused. I have seen you mixed and polluted in contradiction, but my Word will wash you; My Word will heal you. Will you receive it?

Not one of My Words shall pass away and all will be fulfilled; for I must reign ‘till all My enemies be put under My feet, says Jesus Christ alive from the dead. I am the Word. Have I not told you that heaven and earth shall pass away, but My Word shall not pass away?! Behold, it is I and no other! Will you pretend yet still? Will you go on yet still in your deceit? I have come to heal my people. I have come to deliver from vain traditions. I have come to deliver from the darkness of the enemy of your soul. I call you to receive My seed alone and not be mixed with vain traditions. Tradition murdered My flesh, but behold, I live forever. I alone am Truth and desire to lead you to life. I desire to lead you to myself. Will you hear Me, says the alpha and Omega? Will you let My Word be your final authority? Pollute My altars no more. No more bring me praise from the vain imaginations of your heart. For I AM not who you supposed I AM. Can you hear? Are you My sheep? I lead My sheep out. Come out, come out, hide yourself in My Word! Be covered by My Life that overcomes all darkness and be made free by My Truth. Be gone with your traditions; they cannot contain me.

Don’t be confused any longer. Don’t say you are asking to hear from Me and I didn’t respond. Here I am, says the Lord God. Here is My Word. Will you hear? Reject my Word and you reject Me. Cursed are all that forsake Me, the Fountain of Living Waters, the Living Word.

Call me no more Lord, lord and refuse to do what I say. The pure in heart shall see Me; the pure in heart shall know Me, and the pure in heart shall be strong. Behold, receive the strength of my Word. For I wound and I make whole. I tear down and I build all things anew! If you do not hear, you will be torn down. Not one tradition of man will I allow to stand in my Temple. Be not deceived; I am not mocked says the Living One that searches the hearts and minds of his people. For I see, says the Lord and I know your ways and I am set for you to do you good; I am not against you. In love I speak to you. Will you hear Me? Will you come out from your pollutions? I am the Living God.

No longer seek Me among dead traditions. No longer seek to get Me to agree with what you want. I will perform all My will; all My word. Come out, come out, make yourself clean! And I will receive you and you shall be My sons and daughters.

I have travailed for you,, says the Lord Jesus Christ. I have protected you up to this point. Will you hear Me now? For I call you out. I call you out to a new thing. I call you out to a city that has foundations, that I will build, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Do not wait; this is the time; this is the season; and this is My word says Jesus Christ alive from the dead!

Judas said to Him, not the Iscariot, Lord, what has happened that You are about to reveal Yourself unto us and not to the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, if anyone loves Me, he will keep my Word, and My Father will love him. And We will come to him and make our abode with him. The one not loving Me does not keep My words. And the word which you hear is not Mine, but of the One having sent Me, the Father.
